Some files not accessible and accessibility problem fixed!
One of our servers with 16 TB total storage was taken from the network in the course of the day!
The reason for this is probably a redundant power supply problem, which destroyed 16 hard drives (including backups). In the next 1-2 business days, every uploader will get a system-generated e-mail with the file names which referred to this storage server.
This is the first failure in 1 year:
In our business it comes to high-performance systems with sufficient bandwidth to our data center (Link11 Gateway in Frankfurt and Main are tied). We are now working for over a year without a complete failure (not including short times of unaccessibility). Our servers provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, high performance downloads and uploads.
We exclusively use well-known brands of reliable manufacturers in our infrastructure, but hardware failures are sometimes inevitable. We sincerely regret this incident and are currently working on a new concept that will provide us with greater reliability.
Connection problem – fixed!
Many users have noticed that we had severe latency problems between 25.10.2007 and 05.11.2007, which were in the news on Monday (05.11.2007) and on Tuesday (06.11.2007). In conclusion, a new router was installed and the setup fixed.

Each of our customers which bought a Premium Account in the period from 29.10.2007 to 05.11.2007 will receive the following credit:
- 2 day premium account will receive 7 days FREE
- 1 month premium account will receive 14 days for FREE
